The Man Who Walked Around The World
Here is a brilliant ad which really inspires. In this six minute movie, Robert Carlyle tells us the history of the Johnnie Walker brand while walking through the Scottish Highlands.

Flashmob – Weeds
Weeds is such a great tv show. At the end of the latest episode, there’s a flashmob. Never thought I would see that on a tv show. I was asking myself the question why they would do that but then I just thought: “cuz it’s cool”. Enjoy the video and sorry if I spoiled it for the people that haven’t seen the episode yet.
I have been active on Twitter for two weeks now. First I was a little bit sceptical about the concept, but after using it I’ve become a huge fan of this platform. I’ve been able to reconnect with the advertising world by following ad agencies, people working in agencies, fellow bloggers and marketing & advertising magazines. I’m more active on Twitter than I’ve been on my facebook page for months. I’m not a big fan of facebook. And now that vanity URL’s are coming, I probably won’t be able to get my own name as URL, because there are like 35 other Pascal Tran’s on facebook.

Backpaks
I have a fetish for backpacks. My preference goes to daypacks and other hiking packs. The newest addition to my collection is the Deuter Futura 32. I bought this one because I wanted to test the Aircomfort system. It should provide an effective ventilation for my back. Less sweating = happy me! Can’t wait to try this one out during the summer.

Blast from the past!
Look what I have found in my attic.

It’s an old Minolta XG-1(n) my dad bought about 25 years ago. It says 1984 on the receipt. It’s in pristine condition, but I will have to change the batteries if I ever want to use this camera. It should be fun to experiment with film.
I *Heart* Photograpy!

My love for photography is growing every day. That’s why I’m (re)starting my blog with this old photo I took with a Canon Ixus 65 I used to have.
A few months ago I bought my first dslr, the Nikon D40. Now it’s time for me to get out and start shooting pictures. I’m still in a learning process, so bear with me.
